My Approach

Working with kids and with adults requires two completely different approaches. Therefore, I'd like to say something on each of them.

Art Classes for Children:                                                     Art Classes for Adults

The role of parents

Although I work with a tutee 1:1, I always strongly encourage parents to participate in the lesson, so they could see and recognise the progress each time. Moreover, between the sessions they can further encourage the tutee to apply what they will have learnt last time

Curriculum

Importantly, I have a specifically designed curriculum (painting, drawing and other medias) which can be tailored according to the individual needs. Parents are welcome to have a complete review of the Curriculum upon arrival to the first lesson

Rapport

The key things in working with children are patience and positive attitude. Kids learn very intuitively, however, a good rapport with a teacher is crucial. By using some simple tools, tutees get motivated and encouraged to achieve their best. The other, also very important component is a responsible tutee's approach to work itself
